Rapid Transformational Therapy
Your powerful tool for inspired healing.
Will hypnotherapy work for me?
What is RTT®?
RTT® stands for Rapid Transformational Therapy ®, a method developed in the UK by an award-winning therapist, Marisa Peer. RTT® embraces many of the positive aspects of hypnosis, cognitive behavioural therapy, psychotherapy, psychology, healing and neurolinguistic programming (or NLP) that are proven to produce a transformative effect on clients. The therapy aims to identify and change negative beliefs and thought patterns at the subconscious level to create positive change in behavior and thought patterns.
Unlike many hypnotherapy treatments, RTT® does not rely solely on positive reinforcement. RTT® therapy gets to the root cause of an issue, giving the clients the most liberating understanding and transformative power to achieve dramatic long lasting results.
RTT® is endorsed by:
- National and International Council of Psychotherapists,
- American Board of Hypnotherapy,
- International Association of Complementary Therapists,
- International Institute of Complementary Therapies.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I give you power over me?
Some people fear loss of control during hypnosis because of the apparent involuntariness they experience. However, clients are always in control of whether they allow their subconscious to express itself through hypnosis. Through hypnosis, there is much greater accomplishment than with conscious effort alone.
Under hypnosis, you will learn how to elevate the subconscious thinking to a level where you are more aware of it consciously. In this case, it might be better termed co-conscious, thinking with two minds at once, which is very empowering.
For example, an athlete in a team sport can learn to both focus on the ball, as well as be aware of the location of other players around him that will help him decide what to do after he catches, throws, or hits the ball.
Information gained through interactions with the subconscious mind often leads to much more effective therapy, since the subconscious can often help identify core issues more readily than the conscious self.
When anxious about a particular topic, the subconscious generally is able to discuss sensitive topics calmly and from a different perspective than your conscious mind.
What can I expect during a session?
During a 2.5 hour session, I will lead you to discover connections between events in your past and what is being manifested today–addictions, anxiety, physical and emotional symptoms–as a result of subconscious involvement in the process.
Why hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is like time travel.
It accesses a part of the mind which involves a shift in the thinking pattern. We can forgive someone consciously, however, deep inside the subconscious, true forgiveness involves releasing the emotion trapped where it is held in the body. The body is incapable of lying; it will hold the emotion until it is released which happens when it is understood.
Where are your blocks? What are your triggers?
By connecting to the source of the emotion, you will become aware of where and why you hold the emotions, and how you can release them.
I define hypnotherapy as “using your imagination to help yourself by reconnecting with your inner child.”
Hypnotherapy involves a state of focused relaxation to allow the subconscious to speak and become receptive to suggestions. The conscious mind is relaxed and therefore less likely to interfere and block incoming positive reprogramming suggestions with doubt or resistance to change.
Is hypnotherapy a form of daydreaming?
Children spend a great deal of time daydreaming. We see this when they are engaged in play.
Adults can be in a trance state when driving, or even listening to music. This is similar to child-like daydreaming.
Hypnotherapy can help improve how our minds work and make us better able to cope with emotional and physical symptoms. Often this rapid, transformational therapy resolves the physical symptoms.
Hypnotherapy develops insights and creates more positive, peaceful, and confident outlooks on life.
How does the subconscious work in hypnotherapy?
The subconscious is responsible for many of the phenomena that we observe and experience with hypnosis.
My clients learn how to interact with their subconscious so that they can gain from its insight, knowledge, and wisdom.
The subconscious represents the part of our minds of which we are usually unaware. It also contains thoughts and feelings that you may not recognize. Often, the subconscious programming from our childhood has led to a development of physical symptoms.
For example, someone who is afraid of trusting may develop dizziness or headaches.
Anxiety is often caused far back in childhood from adults cautioning us to be careful.
The subconscious also appears to be a storehouse of knowledge you may have forgotten consciously. Accessing the subconscious allows you to access wisdom that you may not be using in day-to-day life. This may be a result of not stopping to consider all you know before making a decision.
